“Weird, wild, and full of heart.” That’s the Mt. Joy experience! A few seasons ago, the “Lemon Tree” and “Silver Lining” band notched road milestones at Red Rocks and New York’s Madison Square Garden, reminding the world that the adventure is far from over.
Tag along on their craziest high yet. Promoting their 4th full album, Mt. Joy greenlit dates for the “Hope We Have Fun” Tour ‘25, washing over 42 North American cities and fests this spring-summer period. The Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater will receive them on Sunday, August 17, setting the perfect mood and ambiance for their newest hits — “Coyotes,” “God Loves Weirdos,” and Billboard AAA Top 5 singles “She Wants To Go Dancing” and “Highway Queen.” The concert is about the good ol’ days. Dusty roads. Gas pump scents. The “Astrovan” years. Hope We Have Fun (2025) encapsulates Mt. Joy at their purest and most hopeful time. Join the nostalgic fun — buy tickets now!
Make it or break it. LA-via-Philly indie folk band Mt. Joy did the work, and now they’re poised to run a two-season lap in honor of yesterday’s wins and tomorrow’s promises. Starting this May, Matt Quinn, Sam Cooper, Sotiris Eliopoulos, Jackie Miclau, and Michael Byrnes will take off for North America’s favorite live music venues and concert festivals in OVER 40 featured stops on the “Hope We Have Fun” Tour ‘25. The trip (owing its title to Mt. Joy’s upcoming 4th studio album) includes one Sunday evening in Nampa’s Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater on August 17th and will present tunes THREE YEARS in the making — their first recording sessions after Orange Blood (2022). The new album is expected on May 30th via Bloom Field and Futures, featuring thirteen tracks 100% brimming with the buoyantly mellow energy that has been their hallmark since “Astrovan,” “Sheep,” and the Platinum-certified “Silver Lining.”

Hope We Have Fun’s first single, “Coyotes,” is a throwback to Mt. Joy’s grit-and-grind years on tour before they were known as the headliners they are today. Long roads. Long nights. The show will run you through the band’s excitement and exhaustion, revisiting all the madness, hopes, and heartaches entailed by a decade of concert lights and gas station stops. New hits “God Loves Weirdos” and “More More More” add to the vibe alongside the recently unveiled “Highway Queen” and “She Wants To Go Dancing,” their latest Top 5 songs on Billboard Adult Alternative Airplay charts following 2020’s “Strangers” and 2022’s “Lemon Tree.”
“Every song has such a human feel to it, and they each feel like some way of shooting light and color through the dark and piercing difficult emotions with hope.”
Mt. Joy brings their eclectic alt-music to the Treasure Valley’s leading entertainment complex — the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater. Score some tickets today and revel in a psychedelic experience surrounded by jaw-dropping panoramas of the rural Idaho landscape.
